On entering Dr S.K Patel’s AFSUN Orthopaedics Center & nursing home you are welcomed by a soft spoken receptionist, which leads you into a spacious and well ventilated Out-Patient department with LCD TV designed to give absolute comfort and luxury to the patients as they wait for their consultation. Well lit luxurious Out-Patient counsultations rooms facilitate shortnening of waiting times for patients. All facilities including 24 hours X-Rray, Portable Mobile X-Rays for home visits Metropolis Pathology Collection Center and Physio Therephy and In-House Chemist all under one roof. This is very helpful as the patients do not have to wait for long and have easy access to the facilities.

On the first floor, the patients and the visitors are greeted by International Standard luxuriously furnished lobby which is surrounded by the patient room. With something for everyone, the rooms range from Deluxe , Semi Deluxe to General wards taking into consideration people from all sections of the society. The Deluxe rooms are nothing short of 5 star hotels of Mumbai. A room with a view, one can see the Rajiv Gandhi sea link and Fly- Over to mumbai airport. Other amenities include LCD T.V, Refrigerator, Split AC, latest bed for patient as well as for their relative and last but not the least a luxuriously fitted Bathroom. The General ward has not been compromised either, it is spacious with all new beds and amenities, one can walk through the ward comfortably. Going through the rooms, you will be convinced how much attention to each detail has been paid to every corner of the nursing home. To monitor and maintain it, the nursing home is equipped with CCTV.

Operation Theatre Complex
On the second floor, we have the state of the art Orthopaedics Operation Theatre Complex  whose area is 425 sq feet carpet for Joint Replacement, Spine, Arthoscopy, Trauma and Major and Minor surgery, a Scrub area, a Changing room for doctor and staff, a fully equipped CSSD, a Pantry, UPS room and a patient attendent waiting lobby.  We also have a state of the art General Surgery Operation Theatre whose area is 225 sq feet carpet. Dr S. K. Patel (M.S Orthopaedics) has left no stone unturned in designing this excellent Operation Theatre Complex.

Both the Operation Theatre Complex are coated on flooring as well as on all the walls with Epoxy Coating and Anti- Fungal expensive paints are used along with the other allied products ensuring a solid non- porous,with a washable Aseptic good jointless Seamless and Homogenous surface finishing and Stainless Steel 304 frame grid for the ceiling, even the doors are of very high density stainless steel. Bio Air Conditioning system equipped with double Skin Air- Handling unit and Plenum Laminar air flow systems, the Operation Theatre is fully equipped with latest Hi- Technology suitable for all Orthopaedics surgeries. The Operation Theatre lights are Twin Dome, Double Arm with focussing capacity of one lac lux (8. 35 cm) and the Operation Theatre is fitted with camera.
